Pace: 12mph - 15mph
Plan Overview:
We are taking the Cape Flyer from South Station to Hyannis on Sunday morning, then biking 50 miles from Hyannis to Provincetown. Most of us are staying overnight at a hostel or hotel and then taking the fast ferry back to Boston on Monday (Memorial Day).
Expenses:
- Ticket for Cape Flyer ($22 for one-way)
- If you are staying over, you'll need a place to sleep (hostel, hotel, campsite, etc)
- One-way Ferry ticket home for your & your bike ($66) on Monday.
*optional* bike 50 miles back to Hyannis on Monday and take the Cape Flyer (save money, and more biking)
*optional* Take the ferry back on Sunday night (save money on sleeping accommodations)
The plan for what **MOST** of us are doing:
Day 1:
1) Take the Capeflyer Train from South Station:
Meet at South Station at 7:30am. The train departs at 8:00am, but it's best to arrive at least 30 minutes early to ensure all of our bikes get on.
2) Get off in Hyannis and bike to Provincetown, we will have a few stops along the way, including a lunch stop.
3) Arrive in Provincetown, check into hotels / hostel / campsite. Shower, change, then meet up someplace (TBD) for dinner & drinks.
Day 2:
1) Wake up
2) Have fun
3) Maybe do the Provincelands Bike Trails (fun!)
4) Catch your ferry home! Most of us are taking the 4pm Boston Harbor Cruises ferry, but others are ferrying back at different times.
