I don't know what I was thinking going back here. Musty, Moldy & old. Terrible towels, sheets, etc. Our bathroom amenities were replaced every day. I wish they would spend some of that money elsewhere. All of the informational literature in the lobby was from last year! What very little interaction that we had with the staff was pleasant, but again there wasn't much. The gentleman (Herbert?) that served us breakfast (yes, the exact same breakfast every day) was wonderful. I think the owner is in over his head. Many many things were overlooked.

Read more reviews at GayCities Provincetown and see photos, maps and reviews of The Commons and other bars, hotels, events and restaurants

"Recently Remodeled" -That's a joke

When we checked in we had to hunt someone down to give us a key. When we arrived there was a huge stain on the bed spread. Yes it was soaked through. The cleaning people said it could not come out in the wash. They were wonderful when they were around. This place is only good if you have to bring your dog (they allow dogs). But beware the hall will smell like damp dog on cold days. They did not remodel. They painted and hung new pictures. The host in the front restaurant has attitude. Rumor has it they lost their executive chef and are suffering since.

Read more reviews at GayCities Provincetown and see photos, maps and reviews of The Commons and other bars, hotels, events and restaurants
