My Beaconlight Stay

Firstly, the location can't be beat. It's in the center of all that's going on. You won't need to rent a bike because all the bars, restaurants and shops are all within easy walking distance--even the gym and grocery store. The room we had was very well appointed: tv, dvd, fridge, sitting area. The mattress was nice and firm. And most importantly, the room was very clean. Keith and Mark are great owners. They are helpful without getting in the way, like some guest house owners tend to do. They suggested some good restaurants and activities that we enjoyed. Even though we had been there(Provincetown) twice before, they suggested things we didn't know about. The common areas of the guest house are nice and wonderful place to relax and make friends over a glass of wine. The breakfasts are completely yummy. Keith is a great cook and makes incredible home-made bake goods that will make you forsake your diet. Beaconlight is a great place because you can either keep to yourself or be really social. We will be back--like many of the other guest who were there during our stay. Beaonlight is now our favorite place to stay in Provincetown.

Beaconlight has become a 2nd home

The hearty, home-made organic breakfast with guests from around the world is an adventure and pure joy. Blocks from Ptown bikes (a must!), the Muscle beach gym and the main drag of Commercial St, it is perfectly located. The owners, Mark & Keith are very kind, helpful and will leave you alone when they sense you want privacy. The wine & food event is very fun. The large hot tub can lead to many an adventure. The rooms are all unique...I love the top floor one with a cozy corner for curly up with a hot mug of coffee and a great book. It also has quick access to the best view in town from the roof deck. The harbor view and the stars at night are amazing. Only down side is some people will walk above you late into the night. The staff is amazing...it is the best place to stay in Ptown...and I have tried a lot of them!!

No Better Vacation Destination

My partner and I have stayed at The Beacon Light every August since Keith and Mark took over as owners. In our opinion, there is no finer place to stay. We've been coming to Provincetown for about fifteen years and have tried several B&Bs. At the Beacon Light, you are made to feel welcome from the moment you pull your car into the lot. It truly becomes your home away from home with every amenity you can hope for. If you need tickets or reservations, just ask and it will get done. There is no pressure of any kind. If you enjoy sitting in the main room talking with other guests you can. If you just want to be alone and do the town, that's OK also. We highly recommend staying at The Beacon Light. John & Rodger

Loved the Beaconlight Guest House

Guests, Travis and I have spent numerous enjoyable stays at the Beaconlight Guesthouse in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The guesthouse is wonderful: it is a historic Cape Cod structure that is decorated in antiques, oriental rugs and fine paintings and prints--offering an "old world" elegance. The guesthouse possesses a victorian charm that provides a very upscale yet comfortable escape from the everyday. The owners Keith and Mark provide a perfectly managed experience. They provide a fabulous expanded continental breakfast with homemade pasteries, fruits, cereals, and gourmet coffee choices. They keep the guesthouse spotless and secure. A staff of houseboys are attentive, available to make your stay comfortable, and are the best looking boys on Cape Cod. The guests are diverse: gay and straight, male and female, families, couples and singles. We have met many accomplished professionals, artists, and writers--we always meet interesting and informative people with whom we interact at breakfast or in the evenings gathered around the baby grand piano: each saturday night they provide a open bar and piano concert by a well known musician--David Wright. The Beaconlight has become a tradition for us. We have celebrated two anniversaries at the Beaconlight and plan to continue the tradition. Travis and Ken

Beaconlight Guesthouse Provincetown, MA

I have stayed at the Beaconlight Guest house many time and have always felt right at home. The rooms are bright and clean and the staff is right there to assist you with whatever you may need to make your stay more enjoyable. The breakfast they serve in the morning reminds me of home when I was a little boy when my mother used to bake homemade muffins. You do not get that kind of feeling in any other guesthouse in Ptown. The private hot tub located behind the guesthouse is always nice to slip into after visiting all the shops and restaraunts Ptown has to offer. I will definately be back. One of the best places to stay when you visit Provincetown, MA. Frank Mahoney Fall River, MA
