Provincetown Carnival

Provincetown hosts its Pride festival at the beginning of June, but Provincetown Carnival in August is the biggest and gayest party of the year. Carnival is a wild celebration of costumes, drag, and general gay revelry.

What: 

For 45 years this Carnival has attracted thousands of partiers from all over the world. Come experience a week of dance parties, yoga and meditation, cruises, drag shows, and pool parties! Every year the theme of the Carnival changes, so make sure to do your research and plan your costume accordingly.

Considering this is one of the most popular festivals in the world, you better believe it attracts some of the hottest talent! You may have seen them on Drag Race, or they might be the best DJ on the circuit right now; regardless of the show, you are going to have an incredible time! Where:

From the Town Hall to Provincetown Brewing Company, the locations throughout the week span the breadth of the city. Head to the Red Room one night for a wild light show and rejuvenate yourself the next day with some classic vinyasa practice at the Yoga Joint!
