Get ready to rub some suntan lotion on a few smooth pecs while enjoying the stunning views at this quaint and welcoming beachfront stay. Located in the heart of all the action, you'll never be short of excitement and LGBTQ+ events!
Tea Dance is life
During the day, you can rent a chair ($5) and towel ($3) and sun yourself by the bay, watching the bikini clad boys, or take a dip in the pool. At 4, get ready for best day drinkindrinking and dancing anywhere. Love it here!
Awesome as always!
The Boatslip is more than a "place." It is a tradition for gay men, be it when they first come out or later in life when they are in their full gay bloom.
It's located directly on the beach with one of the most spectacular bay views in the world. That sunset view with its myriad of fiery pastel colors is spectacular to see as you dance the day away with friends.
The hottest mix of men, the best music, the daily Tea Dances, the cocktails, the sexiness of it all must be experienced personally to appreciate it.
Oh, lastly I won't mention too much about "Dick Dock" because that's not officially a Boatslip offering but I urge you to inquire about it if you've never been because ...
as they say ... when in Rome :-)
Great vacation spot!
Teadances and fabulous pool!
excellent atmosphere, budget bathroom, fine bedroom
The hotel was a little below my expectation for the price and hype on the website. We had a wonderful time obviously but this was more down to the weather and Provincetown itself... Will go elsewhere next time but it really wasn't bad at all... The staff were friendly.
The bst bar Hottest guys
Dont miss T dane here its great
Worked fine for us last month
We arrived in P-Town w/o reservations, changing our plans last minute and not staying at a family house farther down the Cape. We were surprised almost all those lovely Victorian places had No Vacancy signs out during the last week in September, cause we might have tried one for the atmosphere. We found the Boatslip with the GayCities iPhone app, and it's like a formula US motel, nothing special. But, they do have free off-street on-premises parking, some spaces lower-level covered, while other fancier hotels make you use public pay lots down the street. Plus we had a lovely bayside view off our balcony, a private swimming pool, beach access, WiFi, and a Continental breakfast, all at an off-season rate cheaper than anyplace else we found. We were only in our room to sleep anyway, so it served us perfectly. Unfortunately our midweek stay wasn't during one of their tea dances, so we can't rate that. They also have a pleasant-enough bar with an outdoor patio along Commercial St, where we enjoyed meeting other guests from around the country.
good to party, but to NOT stay
Great location and their T-dances are a must, but stay somewhere else. Walls in the rooms are paper thin and you can hear everything going on. Housekeeping staff forgot to clean our rooms, VERY NOISY! Staff not friendly. Stay someplace else and attend their T Dances.
great time
My partner & I stayed here in 1997. Honestly, we lucked out & had a great room: 3rd floor, corner room above the patio deck. I could see it not being as great an experience if your room was hidden elsewhere. a little run down at the time, but clean. Reasonably priced, and close to everything!
Great Stay!!!!
Stayed at the Boatslip over Memorial Day weekend and had a fantastic time. Last time I was at the Boatslip was in 2005. Had a good time, however the rooms were dingy and old looking. Now the rooms are great! New everything...even flat screen TVs. Oh did I forget T-Dance..always a blast! I'll be back next year..Thanks!
